Corona Virus Cases crossed the feared '500' mark - The Project Quote News

A total of 19,817 individuals were tested on Monday. The confirmed Corona Virus cases in India, according to the ICMR, reaches the figure 511 today on Tuesday.


The numbers have crossed the feared '500' mark on Tuesday. The death toll reaches 9. The Government is trying it's level best to make people aware of the situations.

But people, in some places aren't paying much heed. To curb situations like these, the Punjab and Maharashtra government have ordered today, the complete lock down in the respective states.

A total of 30 States+Union Territories, have been completely locked down, covering nearly 550 districts.

The WHO Chief, expressed his concern over the deadly issue as follows: "The pandemic is accelerating. It took 67 days from the first reported case to reach the first 100,000 cases, 11 days for the second 100,000 cases and just four days for the third 100,000 cases."

The coming days are going to test our patience, confidence and our united actions towards social-distancing and self-quarantine. We must act as responsible citizens and follow the government's advisories from time to time.
