Happy Birthday Michael Phelps - The Greatest Olympian Of All-Time - The Project Quote

Updated: Aug 12, 2020

From Seeing His Parents Getting Divorced At 9, Diagnosed With ADHD Disorder At Sixth Grade To Be The Greatest Olympian Of All-Time.

Seeing the legacy of this man, who has been tricking us all these years inside the flesh of a human being, it’s time to accept the year-old fantastical prophecy prewritten within the stars.

On June 30, 1985, the God of the seas, Poseidon bestowed a family living in Baltimore, Maryland with a part of him as their third son.

The child was named ‘Michael Fred Phelps’ and was destined to rule the waves and being called-up as ‘the flying fish’. The kid never had any backing from his Godly father and was tested and crushed like any other human being on the planet. He faced tons of obstacles on his way to the top.

The first one came when he was 9-year-old and saw his parents getting divorced was diagnosed with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) in 6th grade in which the patient faces severe difficulty in concentrating and paying attention to things, and surprisingly was also petrified of putting his head underwater.

But he began his tale with waves with the backstroke instead, and at the age of 10, Michael Phelps held a national record in a 100-m butterfly, and as they say, the rest is history.

The man, who holds the record for most Olympic Gold medals (23), more than 35 World Records to his name and 23 Guinness World Records to his name. Once when he was asked about his work commitment and the way he used to train. The Greatest Olympian had said something we all need to understand if we are running behind our dreams. He said, “If you want to be the best, you have to do things that others aren’t willing to do.”
